Nice to drive - but mate of mine had had one for just 7 months and has had a blown head gasket and 2 cracked engine mounts. Suggests they ain't up to taking abuse

I like them.

I used to love the old shape ones as the new ones are a bit to common in standard from and they don't look much different from the standard ones.

Pretty rapid and nice gear.Can get a new ones for 11K aswell.

The new 182 is the same price as the 172 just 10 more hp and some different stylings. Mine in 3 years........ perhaps.

172 are fairly fast to be honest - dunno if ya noticed but the people i was down with - they have one

i am impressed by them, well untill me turbo starts to play along

i did see another one down there last nite so im guessing thats the one ya talking about

Yea Drew.. the one on 17 SupperLeg's... its chipped with a blitz cone... had a bit play with it to the underground lastnight and I had no chance due to the fact its away before I can get into the power band

my brother has a 172 he got 6 months ago!!
he has had 2 sets of engine mounts and a new gearbox! and he has done 11,000 miles,
lovely car though goes well and has all the extras
