Short sighted, I have to have toric (sp) lenses cos of having astigmatism, cost me £17 a month from specsaver but have to take them out everyday

my eyes are funny, im generally blind for both long and short
i know i need new glasses for reading/pc but im 100% sure i need them all the time so i want contacts
last time i went i had to get speacial ones made up, 45 quid a month!! that was like 5 yr ago now tho
what options do i have? i dont want to go around a few places as they will charge me 4 each eye test first

i was quoted £45 a month bout 3yrs ago so i left it but i have just had some from specsavers and they are £11 a month.
Have come down in price and i wouldnt change them for glasses as they are quality and dont notice £11 a month goin out the bank

i wear them, soft lenses from my local optician
3 month replaceables.
have take them out at night.
thinking of getting ones you can sleep in or permanent ones

ive never used them so i dont see why taking them out will be a big deal for me, i dont think ill ever foget like
in summer tho i get bad hay feever and my eyes water and get very irratable, do ppl still wear them in summer?

I get solutions etc but I pick it all up from them.

I can't feel them at all now, you won't either after the first week.
I've slept in mine a few times now when i've been to drunk to take them out, not a big problem if it's just occasionally, just don't do it all the time

don't fancy risking sleeping in them,have dozed off but really don't fancy a long sleep.
first time i put them in at the opticians took me an hour and a half put them in take them out then back out girl who was having them at the same time as me took just as long.

Me Im short sighted. I wear daily disposables from Spec Savers. Pay £24 per month. The only problem ive had is when one split in my eye and I had to go to SpecSavers to have all the bits taken out

Never heard of that happening, your eye sits right next to the inside skin so there is no room for them to get back there

also if you skeep in them they can dry up and cus you eyes move in your sleep you can scratch your eye, or so i have heard

Ive scratched my eye before it just means you can't wear contacts for a few days. It heals up fine but it can leave scars

Yeah dailys are more expensive. Depends how many pairs you want a month. I have 30 pairs a month.
