i want to do mods to my engine 1.4 16v like add a a decent inlet manifold, full zorst maybe a chip but the engines done 90K...
shall i bother spending the money on such a high milage engine? it's never let me down and still feels strong, but still i'm worried that something will go horribly wrong if i begin spending on her
what do you lot think?

90k is a bit high for modding. Get a donor lump and then mod that. that way you can still use your car until you swop the lumps over

If its been looked after and you dont have serious plans for it (with loads of money) then I shouldn't really worry about it.
Its not your building a full on no money spared race engine.
