my mates install an alpine hu in his rs, no amps just that & 6x9's when he cranks the bass up it cuts out.
whats wrong?

It sounds as though its going into protect mode because its getting too hot. Check pos and neg wiring and also how has he wired his 6 x 9's, he hasent bridged it or anything silly has he?

my alpine digital amp used to do this, was 'over current' ing acording to the error code. dunno y.
bought new sub n works ok now
