Who would be interested in having a dump valve on their diesel corsa?
i made a diesel dump valve for my corsa c. i think its cool but it might be sad.
for those of us who are unfortunate to own diesel cars this is a cool wee mod. what do u think???

how did u go about it for your c mate?
costs involved?
is there enough boost for a genuine tshhh?
im considering selling my 1.4 sri, keeping all my bits and buying a 1.7 dti corsa 3dr in red, and get a nice FMIC in the irmscher bumper.

actually more, i did a lot of research into these diesel dump valves but scrapped the idea when i found out from numerous sources they loose power and create bad turbo lag.

plus i dont like the idea of plumbing into the brake vacuum hose. you also need to get some sort of valve like an egr valve or amal valve, then you need to create a switch on the throttle cable.

as everyone knows its a skoosh to make one. just need a twin piston dump valve and a bit of plumbing and your away. standard its not the loudest but if you turned the boost up it will be pretty loud. and as for speed its a 1.7 diesel. its never gony go fast anyway

i beg to differ, turbo diesels are very easy to tune, i know of a guy who started off with a 90 bhp 1.9 tdi and its now running 225 bhp, and it DOESN'T use nos either.
im looking at 130 bhp with my 1.5 td once i have fitted my gasflowed head, intercooler, bigger injectors and turbo bk zoorst.
