I've gotta 12" kicker sub and 1000 watts Pro plus Titan amp and the sound quality is spot on! Go with kicker mate you wont be disappointed! PainZ i guess its everyone to their own

Agreed, Kicker could have good SQ depending on what enclosure you use. At the end of the day i'd say SQ depends a LOT on how you set the sub up and what enclosure its in. What kind of budget are you on and what Ohm/RMS are you looking for?

agree, Diamonds are good, havnt heard focals so can say about them, but the Kappa Perfect Series are very good Although though there not that powerful, 400wRMS or something, but there nice subs. Heard Digital Design 9512 is suppose to be good for the money, but havnt heard one though .
Also have a look at Phoenix Gold's Titanium Elite 12, they are really big in the states and alot of people say that they sound MINT. Then again at 900 quid for the sub, they should be

can't go wrongwiht diamond,
that titanium sub is not bad as well
too big and too pricey tho.

Yea, i havnt heard the titanium so cant personally say if there any good, but alot of people have rated them highly in the states. Although there fooking massive!! If i had the cash for one and a hammer amp i would get it ASAP

yea, 1600wRMS according to the website Doesnt it use dual 2ohm coils? so you wack that into a 1ohm load, which will help some easing on the cash for the amp. The DLS A6 will be up your street mate, 1200wRMS @ 1ohms And also the Orion 1200D looks good too mate, same price as the A6 Although the 1200D says it can knock out 2500wRMS @ 1ohm at 13.8volts
Anyways, let us know how you get on mate and what it sounds like Although its gonna be loud

edit: Snap about the A6 btw mate, i would look at getting a split charge system going if your running that amount of power using a yellow top battery or something Also, might be worth upgrading the Alt and battery up front while ya at it Although it will be worth it in the end

You're after SQ and you're getting an RE XXX

If you want SQ I'd suggest going for a couple of Focal 5WS's.

And Infinity Perfect's, 'only 350RMS' but I still managed a recorded 145.2dB with two of the Perfect 12's.

Agreed. Your going to push 1000wrms through a single 12 and you want an SQ system?? What mids/tweets are going to keep up with that? Waay OTT for SQ mate
