Xsara VTS is same engine as Pug 306 GTi/Rallye. Saxo shares engines with 106 etc.
Dunno bot Renault though.

as far as i know there are some the same as a mate of mine fitting a Pug 106 rally (the Mk1 1.3 engine) into a Saxo 1.1

Does the new Megane share the same platform as the 307?
I rented a new Megane for a week over crimbo and hated it. The gearchange reminded me of fly fishing and the piss poor torque of the French engine was noticable on hills and overtaking etc.
DONT GET A NEW MEGANE!
