Anyone know of any that can convery but still sound the same as the mp3 cos the one i have turns it into piano noise :S

midi is just to tell the built in noise generater on the phone what instrument and what note to play, you cant convert mp3 to midi, you can try n program in your tunes tho, generally sound shite  lol

can convert them with phone software

yeh midi is simply a music file like mp3 or wav - just a different format.
You usually find midi files when it comes to music creation with eletric piano's or synths.

the phone will play mp3's but you can't set an mp3 as the ringtone, might have to convert it to wav which it can play but that's a huge file

then just downsample the bit rate big time and cut it down cos you aint gonna have a 3 minute song as a fekin ringtone are ye
