Twinport engines employ a variable intake manifold combined with two separate inlet ports per cylinder. Vauxhall say that this gives the engine enhanced flow characteristics, designed to maximise swirl and promote more efficient burning of the fuel/air mixture. The process is assisted by a high rate of exhaust gas recirculation. The result, strong power delivery with outstanding fuel economy.

to be honest i couldnt be arsed. Just paid the valet people to do it for me and they did it muuuuch quicker than i would have! gonna give it a good old Autoglym wax tomorrow tho
