can someone help me with this please, cos b**tard parkers isnt free anymore.
i know there were two versions 150bhp (pre '94) and 136 bhp(post '94), but need insurance groups, and if poss, performance figs

No they had the early ones J, K and some L reg i think were all c20xe or similar (150 horsies) then i think they just swapped the 2.0 16v for the ecotech 1.8 16v not sure on power....

there is a 1.8 125 bhp
2.0 redtop 150bhp
2.0 ecotec 136bhp

grp 15 for the 2.0's and grp 14 for the 1.8 iirc (don't quote me)

1.8 16v was the first one which had the same power output as the 2.0 16v

2.0 16v C20XE was then used

Then replaced by the Ecoshit 2.0 16v with 136bhp which was slow and just generally shit.

J -L some M is c20xe redtop, m is 1.8 eco 125bhp then on to 20 eco 136 bhp some Rs

1991-1994 were Red top C20 XE's 150bhp
1995- were 2.016v Ecotec with 136bhp (no traction control but had aircon)

Also avaliable was 1.8 16v (125bhp) but few were sold, these had no Front fogs, Traction Control and a different interior.

Insurance group for the 2.0l is 15 and the 1.8 is group 14.

Late 1994 C20XE's like mine were distributerless and had a dispac ingition system
