Just had a butchers on ebay at land rovers and i like the series 3's and 2, and lightweights and was thinking about getting one, instead of the corsa. What do you lot think? stay with the corsa, or get a landy?
Other thing is, whats insurance like on a 2lt (or 2.5, 3lt) diesel, old 60's-85 ish? Currently im on me mums insurace, which is about 400 quid all in and if i had me own it would be about 1400. So do you think it will be much more?
Also, i know there solid as hell, much is there much work keeping them in good order and nick?
cheers all

yea i know there slow but would be different and an ex-army one looks the muts Theres a turbo'd hybrid(?) up the road from me and it bloody shifts, although i think its used for competitions since its usually on the back of a trailer going somewhere
so you think i should stick with corsa? hmmm ill have a look at a few insurance quotes and make me mind up on that i think
