Thats alright you also need to stop the WINS service and once the patch is installed delete the "c:\winnt\system32\wins" folder which the virus is in

And to stop the auto-shutdown when the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) gets hit, go to your Start Menu, click on Run, and type the following:
shutdown -a

click Start, Run
type SERVICES.MSC and click OK
when the Services console opens up, on the left hand side, scroll down to Remote Procedure Call (RPC)
when the properties for it opens, press the Recovery tab
there are 3 failure settings, set all of them to Take No Action
Click OK and then close the Services console. your machine will no longer reboot if it fails.
Now get a decent virus scanner, such as Norton 2003 or above, and do a complete scan of your system

WINS - Windows Internet Names Service
DONT delete the entire C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\WINS Folder, thats just daft! in there there will be 2 files, svchost.exe and dllhost.exe. there the only ones you should remove. Removing the entire WINS folder can cause problems
