just got new 1 and in the book it says to fully charge the battery takes 200 min
i put it on at 5pm and now says fully charged is it ok to use or should i leave it

Usually you are supposed to charge new batteries for 6 hours on the first charge, but I've never found a problem just charging it up till it says its done and then using it from there.
Just try and use up the battery till it's down to one bar/says 'recharge battery' before you charge it up again and it should be fine. It will take a few full charges before it gets up to full capacity anyway.

first charges ure supposed to do for longer neway i think, id leave it, u dont want to mess it up n have a batery that only holds enough charge for a day

use it now but when you go to bed tonight stick it back in on an overnight charge.
nicads have a memory and when first charged you have to give them a long charge to set the memory
