id say stick with the f10 cos it will be the same as the f10 that u have at the moment but u will have an extra gear

f13 ratios are different.

it does if u do alot of motorway driving

if i was doing it again id take the whole engine out to the car and change the box with it on the ground

i did it with the engine still in the car

not alot of room to work with and the box is verly heavy

it was a bit of a pig to get the input shaft back into the clutch

appart from that it was straight forward enough

but yeah it was a good mod.

well if you have no idea wot yer doing id get a garage to do it but the labour costs would make it not really worth it

u have to remember that yer dealing with the wieght of the engine and gearbox so safety is key really

its a two day job really if it is yer first time doing it ud get it done in a day if you have been at this stuff before.

urmmm...

remove battery
remove speedo, clutch, reverse light cables.
remove coil
jack up car
take off wheels
dissassemble gear linkage
dissasemble suspension(both sides)
remove drive shafts from gearbox
removed all engine to gearbox bolts(there are a few little ba&tards u cant see)
support engine/gearbox
removed gearbox mounts
prise gearbox and engine appart
lower gearbox

Then do everything in reverse

Buy a haynes manual. It will get u out of trouble

as i said above if i was doing it again id take the whole engine out of the car as theres very little room to manurer in the engine bay

it would only take a few hour with the engine out and its not really as big of a job as it sounds.

u can get a tool for withdrawing the input shaft of the gearbox if yer doing the job in the car but i didnt have one so.

You will have to replace or modify the linkage within the car if its like the nova as theres a big lump of plastic stops it going across to the fifth gear position
