When i get my new car, i il have about £1000 to spend, and i want to get a different paint affect. Any suggestions would be great. It will be a 306 btw

well for £1000 you wont get a good re-spray you wanna be paying at last £1500 for a half decent one

right, looks as though that idea is out the window. Might get private plate and tints instead

Dont get me wrong someone will do a re-spray for £1000 but ya get what ya pay for, how can they be so much cheaper than every one else
They cut corners and use shite paint etc not the premium stuff

get the top half painted a diff colour, different paint job and half the price or less

NOT TRUE...
you really have to shop about, i could knock something up which has a pearl effect for about £1200 inc all materials and labour and i bet you any money you like that the finish will be better than the factory finish, no flat spots, no orange peel etc.

Shit really if you wernt so far away i would let ya spray my car, if the jobs as good as you say???
The body shop my cars at would charge something like over £2000 for a same colour re-spray!!!!, they charged £418 for a smooth boot

That is v interesting, but i am on the south coast If you were nearer i would drop you a line. Oh well.

Anyone have an idea of cost on his or will it look crappy if you just paint the top half without touching the bottom half at all?
