does anyone no if you can record Hifi to pc
i.e if there is a song playing on a radio station that u cant find no were else would it be possible to record it by using sum sort of cable?
and/or program?

Line out from stereo, lin in on sound card, then download a program like wavelab or Soundforge. problem solved!

Yeah!! I recorded my dad on radio, linked it from tape out to 'input' on back of pc then recorded using Music Matchbox

but the phono cable has 2 plugs on one end and one on the other
so it goes grey plug on itss own then a red and a grey plug on the other end

Noooo has two one for left channel/ne for right then goes into a headphone socket to fit into pc i'll get a photo or sumant later to show u !!

Red = Right White = Left and then join together into a headphone socket 2.3mm i think that goes into PC, need decent system with out puts no midi system will do a proper job really

FPMSL ur gettin confused prob my fault...
Right u have a red and white phono lead that goes into a headphone socket u need to buy this u cant chop and glue it wont work, wen u have this u need to connect the phone letad end to the hifi output on the back and the headphone input into the pc

yes you can get a plug in device. I use one at my wifes house to record the protected CD's

the phono cable i have has 3 plugs on it
it has a red and a grey/white one on one end
and a grey one on the other
My Hi-Fi Has
one headfone socket on the front
and 2 sockets on the back ....a red one and a white one

It wont work thats for input from tv, video, dvd etc now output to pc or amp etc!!
