U2U me mate, flakes dont actually go into the lacquer, although most people think they do. They go into a clear basecoat, which is then sprayed over the new or original base colour, and then its sprayed with a super high gloss 2k lacquer... So we could do something which allows you to keep the original colour of the car and doesnt cost quite as much as putting a new base colour on. What i will say is that most of these flake colours need either a red or a black base coat for optimum effect, obviously they can go over any colour, but the best to use are red and black.
Anyways, drop me a few lines of what your wanting and i'll give you some help/advise.

There is a really nice flip effect which is green, blue gold, orange... really nice stuff. There was a girl i knew with it once called sharon mcgarva, anyways it was stunning, it always looked red/orange/gold, but because its a chromaflair it flips through greens, light blues and is spectacular considering the price... thats why i dont tell anyone where i get it good news is this stuff is only in the region of £130/£150 per litre, u only need 3... could probably have a really cool paint job for not a lot of money.
Like i said, u2u and we'll have a chat about it
