My wife corsa c dosn't get used much and the front disc's have started rusting, I've give it a few good runs to clear the rust off but now when braking there is a slight on-off effect as if the disc's are warped, don't thing they are warped, its just that some parts of the disc's are smother in places and thats whats causing the juddering.
Just wondered if they could be cleaned up some how or is it new disc's, if it needs new ones what are the best to go for that don't rust as quick, as the car only gets used once or twice a week. Been told black diamond may be best.
Thanks in advance.

Rusting on the discs is normal, i'd just take it somewhere thats safe to do a few emergency stops and that should get rid of it.
How many miles has the car done? It might be that the discs are really warn the reason that it judders

Its only done around 7k ... its under 2 years old, could take it back under warranty but VX would probably just say its due to lack of use!

Discs should be fine then, probably just a build up of rust that each time its being used you aren't getting rid of the rust.
Do what i suggested with a few emergency stops

Yeah just use the car but DONT just do emergency stops (hard short braking), you want to use them lightly like when breaking new discs/pads in until they are back to normal cold bite...
