I was watching t.v earlier and i saw some one walk past with a green jacket on when i got up to look it was the police shining a torch in my window of the car. When i went to the door to find out what was going on they was walking a way.They might get me later for somthing Lee

the dvla dont need to look here or there. they have it all on computer now and you will be issued with a £80 fine if your not upto date.

was the car on your driveway? if so then the wether the car is taxed or not the police have no rights to do what they did!

i had a cop knock on my door a few months ago and trying to issue me with a producer after he asked is this your car sir etc etc etc...

car was on ramps, no front bumper, engine half out, and no tax.

I said to him yeah it is mine and no there is no tax, insurance or MOT, he then said its an offence to drive the car on the road without all that & tried do me so I just laughed n told him where to go in a polite manner!

never heard anything else after he left, think he was just bored or something, but not had any bother since!
