It looks like im getting a company car later this year, dont know what its gonna be though.

How does it work out with tax, I heard you can get hit hard by Mr Brown

my mom has....

she has a new astra 1.7 tractor/taxi

she gets tax taken out her wages......i dont know exactly how much but its meant to be a alot

All theoritical at the moment anyway as I start the new job on Monday and It'llb be 4-6 months til I get it but I was just wondering what sort of increases can be seen.

I have a Skoda Fabia estate and my tax code changed from 461 to 372 so its costing me 990 a year but ill hardly notice it to be honest

the car is reliable, cheap to the company, and when doing 5000+ miles a month who cares. its not the quickest off the mark but i have changed my views on skoda's

How did you work out how much extra it will cost you from the tax code?

well basically 461 is £4610 which means you earn a total of £4610 bfore you start to pay tax, so ill now earn £3720 before taxed, costing me £990

L is for a person with the basic personal allowance so standard code really for your wage
