Very good film but in my opinion it was half an hour too long, i.e. the last half hour was pointless, and a few little bits annoyed me. The first was the ghost fighters. What a fucking kop out. And the second was the eagles at the end that carried frodo and sam away. Again what a fucking kop out. There was no other way of getting them off that rock so they came up with giant eagles to rescue them How lame!!

Still a very good film though

i deliberately waited for the crowds to go down (dont like crowded cinemas) wasn't really in a hurry to see it I saw many other films before it by my choice like Lost in Translation and The Last Samurai

The running time is def. the film's downfall

Compared to the first two I thought it was crap, to long, to fake I mean the ghost army? WTF? In the book all the ghost fighters do is take out the blokes on the boats not help in the larger battle for the city.

Who was Sloth? The Ork in charge of the armys?

Yes SetH I said this to everyone as well? Why does'nt the eagles just carry the ring to mount doom and drop the ring inside the fire?
