My work PC has been attacked by W32.Novarg.A@mm virus. Its mass-mailing worm that arrives as an attachment with the file extension .bat, .cmd, .exe, .pif, .scr, or .zip.
Its a right bitch i keep receiving hundreds of emails. If you get an email with the following subject DO NOT OPEN!:
Subject:
(one of the following)
test
hi
hello
Mail Delivery System
Mail Transaction Failed
Server Report
Status
Error
I don't care really as im formatting my PC soon. Its a bit annoying though as i'm currently receiving 180 emails, its also trying to send out about 20 but im blocking them. shitty virus

I got an e-mail before with a file .bat and the subject error. I just deleted it though, didn't know what it was.

i havent had that but i have had the worm,which shuts down your pc of its own accord when it likes when you are online

Thats what mine kept getting then suddenly shit loads came in.

You might have had the trojan thats been going around... That allows people to remotely control your pc from thiers over the net!

I've got those emails, is it only if you open the attachment it fucks you over? I've accidently opened the actual emails, but not the attachments...
If it auto extracts when you open the message (even without the attachment) any fix available to get rid of it?
