just startin off with me car now... ive worked my budget out n ive got about 600- 650£ left to get me a decent cd player, speakers n a shit hot lock n other bits n bobs, has ne 1 got any ideas? open to anythin,

by lock do you mean alarm? Are you looking for a basic stereo system that you want to upgrade, or is that all you are planning to spend on it?

new tot fancy coz itl only get robbed

with £600 to spend, its probably best to go for 6x9s instead of sub and amp as it will be a bit cheaper.
