how does everyone make their arches smooth?
i have been told they have to be fixed really well so they dont crack
hows anyone done this?

make up fibreglass replcement ones, very easy to do.

smooth arches look

seen a few nowadays with them..... yeah i would think that the arch would need to be screwed down to help prevent cracks

Like this\/ i think its one of the best things you can do to our car of choice... get rid of those stupid plastic arches....

XTC113, out of curiousity, what would you do when you need to take your front bumper off? is it all smoothed in as one?

no the bumper doesn't actually go under the arch anymore like the standard bumper.... i used custom t shape brackets

been to the local bodyshop and he has quoted me £400 for full respray in silver and he will smooth the lot in...Arches,spoiler,skirts..etc

Seems a little cheap to me, try and look at some pics of their work or talk to people that have had work done there!! Remember you get what you pay for!!

you take it to the bodyshop and say.... "can you smooth all my plastic bits please"

thats what i did, much easier.... too much hasle diy'in it...

cuz tbh trying to get a diy finish like this \/ you've either gotta be pretty skilled with fiberglass, or have lots of time on your hands for mistakes....
