The sub in the parcel shelf is called a free air sub, no enclosure needed.
Just as bad as sony 6x9's!! stay clear of them!

If you really want 6x9s, your best bet would have been the infinity ones in halfords for £50. dont know if they are still for sale tho.
Infinity, kicker, rockford are all good makes that I have heard. And they wont burst the bank either!

Well there are two ways to look at it. If you ever do want a sub at some point, you have spent £ on an amp that you wont be able to use, so you have less £ to spend on future ice.
But if you can resist the temptation not to get a sub, which I doubt you will, then yeah amp them. They will sound loads better. just mind and run them in!

As a general rule you want to match the rms and the impedance of the speaker with the amp. If the speaker is 4ohm and rms of 100w, then you get a 2 or 4 channel amp that runs 100w rms at 4ohm.

okey dokey, so these Cliff Design speakers as an example. The rms here is called nominal or continuous power which is 100 watts. and thats at 4 ohms.

TBH that site isnt informative enough. you dont get alot of info about the speaker.
Anyway, the infinity 693.5i 6x9s. 110 w rms *AM GUESSIN* ITS 4 ohm cos the majority of 6x9s if not all of them are 4ohm.
Nah am sorry That site isny good. Sometimes it gives rms and sometimes it only gives max. there aint enough info to do it.
But its like I said just match the rms to rms and the ohms to ohms. you wont go wrong.
