Springs and shocks... is it easy?? how much wud a garage charge and set it up propper i.e tracking toe in toe out curve, camber etc etc

garage wil charge any hing from £40 to £80 to do
to fit the suspension is easy u need spring compessors and if u are not handy with a spannar then dont bother
u could really hurt yourself

its easy enough i just changed me springs the other night
u do need the proper tools though and as adam says a spring compressor dont attempt to do it without one as u'll take the head off yerself.

possibly depends where u go and how well/friendly u are with the garage
i spose max ure looking at £150 but thats real expensive

i did whole setup on mine in 4 hours but i know what im doing and i took mine time-lots of cups of tea
and i had real trouble with the rear shock top bolts-pain in the ass these are

the spring compressors i have u stick your rachet onto them
was winding them for ages what a bloody workout!
rear shocks...... spanner on the nut, socket or an adjustable spaner to stop them spinning
the beam bolts are simple enough.

Spring compressors are good but i found that those things that breakdown trucks use to hold the car in place work wonders.
I take no responsibility if you hurt yourself though!
