hi i just need some help, i have a full stainless steel zorst from powerflow and i went for a service and a de-cat about 3 weeks ago and they said i need a new cat pipe cause the flange is rusty to fcuk and they said it will cost about 200 for a new 1 (im new to engine mods so dont laugh if i get this wrong  ) but i have found 1 from http://www.tuning.co.uk/vauxshop/ is this what i need ? as i what a new Manifold as wel, so to beable to get a new Manifold i will need a new cat. plz help me out ppl cheers for ur time.

rsonally i wouldnt go for a sportex manifold, but each to their own, id go for a janspeed one, bit more pricey but better in the long run. and get a de-cat pipe, about £50ish from piper. the £200 u got quoted was that for a 4-2-1 manifold and a de-cat? if so that sounds about right for sportex stuff.

nar that 200 quid was just for a cat pipe as mine needs replacing due to rust, but i need a cat pipe to be able to get a new manifold? where could i get 1 from

a de cat pipe, lol 200 boys! lol! get a piper one or sumink for 50!

a de-cat pipe is about £50 ish and a catalyic converter is mega bucks but remember if ur cat is rusted now u'll still need to get a new 1 one day for when it comes to MOT day.but for now i would buy a de-cat and 4-2-1
