Here are some pics of JR's stripped out 1.4 16v conversion which was done by lee Mitchell and is a very tidy job.

Got to say i was amazed by how quick it was twas very brisk specially as its all stripped out, mid range is quite similar to my 2 litre i am very impressed. Had a little drive of it and it blows the socks off my old 1.4 16v Roll on the tb's james

and if anyone says it needs lowering its already lowered 40mm on koni ajustables it jst lacks an interior, and it handles the nuts

top job

he could bore the block. but then he needs new pistons which where expensive. he could just put a 1.6 bottom end to get the figure a bit higher

looks good james.

it has an omex ecu and has been fully mapped on an engine dyno.

i think it may be a little less than the 136 bhp with the standard air box though

james if your gonna make it into a 1.6 i got the pistons, crank and block sitting in my garage.

oh yeah the rev limit is still set to 7500, can be put up to 8000 rpm if you like.

the peak power was 7033 rpm, i only lowered the rev limit cus i wanted to be more on the safe side.
