u dont need a Hub, I use a D-Link 54g pci card in my main machine (With the modem connected to it), my laptop has a D-link 54G PCMCIA card in it, these two computers can now communicate using an Ad-Hoc (peer to peer) connection.

Then all you have to do is set up ICS (Internet connection sharing) on the main machine

Im getting a wireless router for our broadband when its set up. the benefits of this are that unlike internet connection sharing - you don't need the primary pc on as well as the secondary pc. Plus the router has build in firewall and manages the network better etc etc.

I think the new DLink will support a 108MBps 802.11g wireless connection...

Whats the best wireless router / modem / firewall to go for? I thought the NetGear ones look nice. Are they wall mountable?

Our wireless network cards are only running at 11mbps.

I thought price-wise they were more like £125!

I take it the router connected to the pc and the Internet will allow the toehr pc to access the net i the primary pc is switched off??
