hey lol might be cheap but 20bhp out performs the lexmaul's 7-10 bhp by miles and if u spend 20 quid powder coating the velos it looks wicked
ummm 10 more horses for 200 quid less

This sounds too good to be true surely?
What are the disadvantages to having one?
Massively reduced fuel consumption?
Also how easy is fitting?

i think the velos is different cos the extra power it gievs comes in higher up the revs or sumfin like that

^^^ yes this is true, lexmual gives better mid rage, but velos is better higher up, mine really pulls at 5000rpm...if u get a velos get a chip and raise the rev limit as i av done. works well with the velos...and i luv revvin my lump

ninjauk, were talking about new inlet maniofolds mate. worth buying one if u have a 1.4 or 1.6 16v engine! fuel aint effected by one, only way it will be effected is cuz u will be driving everywhere with ur foot on the floor! i have a lexmaul one, ok it was expencive but i didnt want one that id have to rev my engine to get all the gains out of it, they way i drive my car it wouldnt have been any use to me, but upon fitting the lexmaul i found it gave me good power all the way to the limiter, ok a velos one would give more power but it gives alot more of it at the peak, no use for the amount of motorway driving i do! end of the day its up to u, if u want the biggest power out of ur car for cheap fit the velos one, or if u want to spend a few more ££ get the manzel one, looks alot nice IMO. fitting of the velos/manzel ones is a bit trickey as u have to move the throttle body etc....the lexmaul is a direct swop, takes 1-2hours max! and thats only cuz there is a stupid clip that is tricky to get to!

if you get a unichip with these inlet fanimolds you'll get increases in midrange as well as top end

vibrio is right. On my GSi - when I had it, sob sob - I ran the Velos Torq Tube without a Unichip and it was a little rough, but the Unichip did smooth all the midrange out and even increased the top end power aswell.
Velos' products may not look as pretty as others, but they do the same job for less cash!
