er, for money itd b cheaper drop a 20let in, but yeah u can turbo a 1.4 8v-but to a point though obviously as 1.4 8v components arent designed for turbo applications

i posted this earlier buddy; heres all the info:

Thanks for your enquiry, we do have a conversion for this car the standard
conversion is £2995 and gives 150 bhp and 160 lbsft of torque. We can take
this further with the aid of a new inlet manifold and additional piggy back
computer and extra injector. This cost an extra £975 and will put the power
up to 175-180 bhp.

i emailed courtenay asking the same thing, bit expensive tho

so as he said nearly 4k. u can have a 20 let up to about 275hp for that.

yeh a tad! would it make a lot of diference on insurence between a 1.4 8v and a 1.6 16v? both turbod?

itd depend on the time of insurance cuz it changes every day, and how much it worth etc. personally more 20let into corsas hav been done-tried and tested-for that reason id have that set up in over a 1.6 16vt or 1.4 8vt

my mate charlie has got a standard lookin 1.4 sr h reg nova runnin a 20let. says scooby slayer on rear screen. oh boy its funny. especially nailin m3s and scoobys down the road

exactly... im only gonna have subtle body mods... (rieger kit) so just think it wud be funny wen our friends in teh BM's and scooby think they are gonna wipe the floor with us

personally matey, that quote put me off the idea. far too expensive for what it is would be ace as fook though decisions yours though bud, im waiting to find out how much velo's are gonna charge for their new turbo system; then decide whether i want to go for the turbo or buy a new car.
