as i pull away i occasianally get a clicking noise from the drivers side front wheel, also happens when i reverse.

only a light clicking noise, not a clonk like the CV joints make. i thought maybe it sounds like the drive shaft is slipping

it might sound stupid but check your tyre tread i had same sort of noise and found there was a stone lodged in tread, happens again every now and then just pick em out!

its weird i can't make it do it - like try pulling off hard for instance

i had one stuck in me tire the other day stoped 5 times b4 i got the bugger

its definatley not a stone i've checked

as i move off its like a quick clikcing noise, like when you pull a cable tie together, but louder

just check all joints etc could be a cv joint?
