Basically intending spraying in my garage, using an air fed mask hopefully.
So i need a bit of help regarding 2k paint.
Is it possible to get souch paint (primers, colours and laquers) which DONT contain isocyanates????
And if so, rough prices etc if known would be

yeah, 2pack paint contains cyenide (spelling), normal paint doesnt.
its not just you, you have to think about uing 2pack paint tho. you shouldnt really use 2pak withut air extraction..too dangerous

Yes, i know 2pack contains cyanide. But isnt it possible to get it without the cyanide???

Have you any ideas as such how many £££ a suitable air extraction unit will set me back???? Will be using an air fed mask aswell.

air feed mask is ok for you, but what about people walking past ect.
air extraction is a fir few ££££'s i would think

No, without cyanide u have cellulose. I have used cellulose and its shite. Buy a big fan, put it at the front of the garage and suck air out with it. Use 2pac its loads better.

Cheers folks. Just thot i had heard somewhere along the grape vine that 2k was available without the isocyanates. Not matter.
So basically, use 2k, with an air fed mask, however, if i leave the garage door open, and use a big fan, then wont dust and flys n shit be a bit of a problem???

yes which is y u keep the door shut, and either cut or somehow make a hole in the door same size as the fan. Then blow air out of garage through the hole, to keep air flowing without picking up loads of bits.
Also make sur the garage is SPOTLESS before u start.
