Wanna fit leccy windows in my 94 Corsa SRi as it has cacky manual ones at the moment. Took off the multiplug leading from car to door and I have...
.......13 silver connectors in the plug. I know some are for central locking and alarm but surely that does not need 13 connectors? So do I have leccy windows loom into my door as I am useless at electronics.
I need a pretty quick answer guys as I am buying a full set soon. Cheers

i need to no this to mine is a 1.2 but dont no if the loom plugs straight in. it has got three bigger wires that go staright thro wot are they for. 2 red 1 black

I think mav 3000 covered the info on how many pins u need in ur plugs for central lockin OR leccy windows, try a search, wont hurt

how many plugs does the door harness have?
you should have:
2 - spks
2 windows
2 mirrors ( one on the pass loom)
2 - locks
if you have this then it has windows on it.

windows have about 4-5 wires and leccy mirrors is about 4

i've also got a set of electric window, thought about taking the loom out with the multiplugs but the bugger ran all over the car and had many other wires spliced into it. so i removed the door pillar side of the plugs with about 500mm of the loom with it, just gonna splice the existing speaker cables onto the new connector/loom (2 cables) and run some new cables under the dash to connect the window switches/motor power.
the old connector plugs only had the speaker wires in there,now i just have to chop and join em.

i think with 13 wires there u do have all that are needed. As a final check if your car was made before 1996 i belive, then it has all the wires

all ya need is a multimeter,haynes,cable and connectors + 20 cups of coffee .
knowing about electrical stuff helps aswell .
