Yeah yeah, u had me, but i've already told u before about traction and my shitty tyres. Still, u got ahead, and fuck me was i impressed. You wern't that much slower up to about 60+ as we went across the M25, but i ahd to keep backing off after that. Still, damn impressed dude, went like sh1t off a shvel for a 1400 16v engine. Im thinking you should be in the 15"s for a 1/4 mile easy and a goo 7-7.5 odd 0-60 with your current spec. Have to say, your back end looked a little all over the place though. U need to get that arse end down some more. COrsas seem to be a little skittish with nothing in the rear (i had it for a while when i had my 1.4, back end gets very light).

So, 1.4 16v, 136bhp, stripped to bugger inside, 15"s
Vs
2.0, fully kitted, 16"s and a tonne in weight (u should be at about 900kg)

= 1.4 aint that much slower bottom end at all!!!!!!

i feel his car pulls better higher up the rev range really scared me once

i reckon mine wud be quicker off the mark as joe will agree but most times it jsut spins i am yet to play with him on the way to southend

Fads, u'd have him. same size wheels, closer ratio gearbox, same rough power as me.

If i've got decent tyres and suspension it would sway in my favour, but i haven't.

But anyway, im not worried i lost out, so what, its a bloody quick little 1.4 engine and i was well impressed by it. Roll on next stage of tuning (best get rid of some weight).

U may see Donna and I scattered about at the shows this year. Dont know what D4's first public showing will be. Too much to do to say when shes going to be ready for 2004. Will look lovley though hopefully. The collection of new bits has already started
