Have you smoothed the rear quatre peice into the bodywork or not, if so how exactly have you done it as i dont think normal filler would hold very well.

arnt these plastic?

if they are fibreglass, just pop a layer of glass over them and the rear 1/4 to bridge the gap and them smooth with filler

nope there fibre glass, shouldnt crack doing it that way should they, skirts are solid now like got expandy foam in em.
