Alrite everyone,first post on here.
just wonderd if u guys could help me,basically wen i have no petrol in my car (on red) i cant get into 1st gear i gotta put it second then up into 1st which is a pain in the arse at times,but when i fill up it goes back to normal,ne ideas? cheers lads help much appreciated

what makes you think think its something to do with the petrol.
does it on my dads vectra, even when its got a full tank.
your gears underneath car want spraying with wd40.

didnt say it was ote to do with the petrol m8,just seems tht wen iv got a full tank the problem seems to go.

i think your just paranoid about the petrol, i bet i does it however full the tank is.
i know alot of corsas wont go into 1st unless yuo let up the clutch and put it in again, or put it into 2nd then 1st.
sometimes mine does it when it feels like it, its just the teeth not meshing first time

1st gear will be dry(if you get me), spray the gears with wd40.
