how easy is it to change the tailgate?
thing im worried about is the washer pipes and the electrics, how do i get em through the tailgate to the recess bit?

disconnect all wires inside boot, then take off the circlips and push throught the pins make sure two people are holding it cos its bloody heavy

if you disconnect them they should all pull throught he hole when you take it off

it getting em back into the new one im bothered about 
probly devise a cunning plane involving string and a weight, something like that

best thing to do is put a tag on them saying what each one connects to

yep, will try to ut string though the tailgate, tie the wire to the string when it on and pull then through.

i used straws mate put loads together fed the wires through taped the wires to them and puhed through the hole worked first time
