just asks you to activate windows and you cant use the computer until you do so.

If you have the serial number, just phone them up with installation ID and just say that uve upgraded ur computer.

If its a downloaded copy/serial, u will have to either wipe it or crack it

It come with my dads computer, so if i say i've upgraded will my oldmans computer still be ok? Im a scrooge and don't want to pay out £80 for Xp, i'd rather use ME lol

na if its a copy of xp home edition u need to wipe the timebomb thats set into the software out easy enough to do just download the crack and load up windows in safemode and run the progrqm, hey presto the time limit is removed

er i meen although i have never done this and dont condone the ripping off of microsoft in the least :thumbs
