now as there is no air passing through it would heat up quickly but 80C in 30C out just stting on my bedroom floor

well yes. I was also pleased at the fact that it had more thanone setting.
first run was at settign one. 40C in 20C out but that help it for a long time compared to the 80C run

ok further tests.
water no good as it just heats up without cold air. put almost 90 C through it for a min. 34C was the end temp which rose from 19C ambient. about 1/2 the core was warm. still not a bad decrease
