how do i remove and replace the front arches on a 3 door corsa b. I've looked in the haynes manual, but its not actually there! Do i have to remove the inner lining and wheel?
and also, stupid question, whats the best way to get it on axel stands? Where do i put them?

There's bolt behind them. Possibly one pop rivet. Takes 2 mins.

? From the spares ones i have waiting to go one theres more like 6 bolts. only 2 are accesible, which is y i think i have to remove the inner linning.
Why isnt this in the hyanes manual?!

The liner needs to come off, you don't need to remove the wheel but it makes things easier if you do.

take the wheel, then taker the inner wingshield off(2 nuts on inside body. then take the arch nuts off(these hold on the arch and the shield together). theres bout 5 or 6 plastic bolts goin all the way along the arch plastic. once there off the arch shuld jus come off freely!! easy really!

okay, i tried to take the warch liner off the otherday, and it seems to be held on by 1 nut and about 6 of the plastic trim things, that just get pushed on. My usual method of screwdrivers and pliers didnt work, so today i bought an actual trim pin remover (the sort of screwdriver with a forked end)
now ive just been out to try to get the bastards off again, and the remover just bends the plastic pins, and doesnt actually pull them out. Can anyone tell me how they get them out, as they dont seem to waht to move.
i no it should be an easy task, and it would be if i could just remove these pins

The big plastic pin things have an insert in the middle.
When installing the pins you would push it in, then press the insert in, this will lock the whole body.
You have to pull the insert middle part out, and it should come out easier. I think you can do it with a small flat head screw driver. If all else fails, chisel and hammer

push the centre of the pin and it should push in. then pull the whole clip out

haynes manual has a small bit on arch lining, 11*22
it is really easy mate, i just wacked the archlining out of position tbh, or just get a stanley knife and trim it abit where u need to get to the bolts

i cant belive how hard this is! nothing else has taken this long to do. The haynes manual i have is really old, only L and M reg, 11*22 is all about seat belts

right push the clip in the cneter and the pin that goes into car body should move inside the clip, then it will just pull out of way, or like i sed b4, just but abit with a stanley knife so u can get to the bolts

I din't really bother trying to pull the pin out, i just wdged a screw driver behind the lining and pulled in as many directions until the thing came off. The lining is so stuborn to get out, you don't really need to take the whole lot out. I managed with just bending it down to get a socket over the nuts. An hours job to get them off and 15minutes back on.

Pain in the ar5e to take out the lining, i used a small phillips screwdriver to punch the trim pin centres out then just pull the remaining part of the clip.
