Useless? Yes!

Trying to ring them to get details of my ban, i.e date when it ends (got a rough idea 8th June) but wanted to also check to see if I had to re-take my test.

All I get is a automated response telling me about penalty points and how long they stay on your license.

There is'nt even an option to speak to a telephone operator.

Any suggestions?

Dont go through to the ponits bit, ring a test confirmation and say u been put through by another dept. ???

is this where u got the number? says durin office hours you get the option to speak to an operator

Yes the dvla phone system is completely turd, all automated,do what evisu said,you probably get a welsh girl. i coulnt understand her accent

when I got fed up pressing all the numbers, I just didn't press a thing & it put me through to an operator as it thought I didnt have a touch-tone phone...

Just an idea! Duno if it still works or not!

I got through, 94 days until my ban expires and my driving license renewal forms are being sent out in the next couple of days.
