Got hold of DVLA in the end, I just wanted to check to make sure I had the correct date for the end of my ban, it was correct.

08/06/04 and have to re-take my test (not a problem) and they will be sending out my driving license renewal forms in the next couple of days

At least I can insure the Nova as a learner driver and my mate can sit in the passenger seat so I can drive about again.
