Battery is fine cos it was ticking over, it just wasnt starting. Took about 20 tries to get it going, and its been running fine since then. It also did it yesterday morning when it was cold, but it starts alright when the engine is warm. There is also an oil leak, so im thinking it might be the head gasket leaking? (Its being steam cleaned on monday so i can see where the oil is leaking from, until then i cant see cos its all dirty  )Any ideas people? Its a 1.4 8v SRI (C14SE) with 128k miles on the clock! Getting the C20XE in the next 2 months, so dont want to spend much ££ on this engine.
