Or the combo. They have "cut off" doors like the 5 doors, not rounded ones like on the 3dr's.

Combo has the same doors and window regulators as the 5dr - correct

The 5dr GLS had Electric Windows as standard but if you've got a van you need the 3dr bits n bobs.

Check you've the wiring b4 u buy any kit to save the hassle of re-selling it when you realise what an absolute nightmare electric windows are if you haven't got any wires

Adi,

Everythings working, only thing is the air bag warning light's on but the airbag works ok - thats 'cos the GLS loom was for electronic pre-tensioners or something so warns that mine are manual (or something like that).

Only problem with my car now is that the handbrake lights stopped working!

I have all the wiring in mine for electric windows. I stripped an 96 astra down for the central/deadlocking and got EVERYTHING that was attached to it.

MAV3000,

correct mine is a combo. I know that the manual regulator is the same for the 5 door and the van. I pulled both out of wrecks and found the same part #.

what parts did you need from the 3 door?

does your drivers door window have the auto down option?

do you have a pic of the inside drivers door pocket. ( I bought a set of factory switches curious to see if they are correct.)

lastly part #s?

if I have these I can get them ordered in here in aust. the local cars here didn't get power windows

thanks for the help.

chris.

Thomas,

hmm not sure why mines on then, but once the bulbs gone Im not worrying.

Chris R,

People on here have the Vauxhall EPC and can supply part numbers, but I'm not one of them sorry.

If your car is a combo you will need:

5dr or combo CORSA regulators with motors on (these are different to manual regulators - and are non-interchangable!)

switches, looms and swaitch housing.

Both door windows have auto-down - ie if you press the button for a second, the window goes all the way down. Wicked for the summer

Guide to it all is here:

BTW The lower door pocket - isn't necessary for this.

get the little switch housing, which has three screws in the back, cut a holoe in the original door pocket for the depth of the switches, then screw the switch housing on. It fits flush if you aim it right.

And auto-up - yes although mine are really slow doing up, but realise thisis amix of resitance on the top cover on the door cards and the weight of the glass.

MAV/tomas,
Mine has the auto up/down function on it so the wiring is correct.

in regard to the switchgear, I need the switch housings.

the passenger one I mounted in the door handle where the mirror switch is.

the switches I have are astra ones (pass side) and they look the same as yours.

does the pass side look the same?

willing to pay for the parts if someone can help out OR has part #s...

( can't buy this stuff in oz .... surprise surprise.)

MAV3000,

where is the passenger switch located ( pass door) I have mine clipped into the door handle ( a pic would be nice.)

I have a Part # for the switch housing on the drivers side: 90431427

switch is: 90433890. if you can add these #s to the faq it would save a few people looking for them.
