Tbh it would prob be ok, but when you turn lights, heater etc on i think you would have probs and would lose a lot of power.

He bought the ngine off me there was absolutley nothing wrong with it before anyone goes down that route it was one of the best looked after GSI engines around it has something like 63000 miles on it and wa hardly ever thrashed and it was in perfect condition. The key I have is acompanied by a remote fob that you aim at the dash and press and the flashinglight goes off before you can start the car hope you sort this out soon adam, Regards Paul...

Depends on the year of the doner car, it might have had engine immob originally?

The alternator should be fine, just that you won't acquire as much charge while you're driving around. Only an issue if you do loads of short journeys or use a lot of electricity while you're driving.

No ones saying that mate, Ive had an engine put in a car before and took a bit of playing with to get it to fire up - Something was broke on mine - cant remember what:S - Got there in the end tho

What imobiliser did you have then and would it still be wired into the loom

Ever try starting without disarming first

Thats what I thought mate I am sure it is standard, I have tried before starting it and no it would not start it did not even enter my head about the immobiliser when selling the engine but we can soon sort that out Adam as we agreed before, I was not saying anyone was accusing me of selling a dodgey engine I just dont want people thinking I have I suppose lads, Regards Paul...
