Im considering replacing my 1200 16v sxi lump with a 1400 8v sri multi-point lump, bottom line I wanna know is, is it all worth it? the engine is BRAND NEW

Performance is almost the same, 8v is quicker off the mark due to low down torque, the x12xe beats it high up the rev range though, not worth it imo bud.

i was just basing that on the 1.2 8v. i though the 1.4 would just be the same engine rebored

musent be though

p.s my 8v has no torque

yer 1.4 82 ps is quicker to 60 by bout half a second and the top speed and 0-90 are about the same.

The 1.4 would feel meatier though, but so would a hug with a 20 stone woman
