the car was doing 60mph looked like it had been doing mach 3 or something shame about the bloke dying though, then again he shouldnt have been driving that fast if he cant handle the car

when the clocks state around 90kmh, which is about 60mph and they would have been reading about right on impact, although obviously the driver would have tried to brake, so he could have been doing 100mph+ but on impact it would have been 60mph...unless the speedo got stuck during the car spinning out of control

if car is spinning, wheels wont be turning as quick as they would if going straight, so is probs why its reading what it is
for a car to 'snap' like that though it will of been WAY over 60mph!!

But by looking at the rest of the car, I think you can make a pretty safe judgement that the speedo will be well and truely fucked. Drive safe everyone.

Its mentioned elsewhere in the thread that there is another pic containing body bags that was not posted in the thread.
I don't think its a matter of speed, more that the trees don't offer much sympathy and the impact is not central.
