astra may be too long...
i know someone who bought some brake cable for a bike & used that as a stop-gap measure... same stuff really, just takes a bit of work to get it right!

think u defo need a corsa gsi one, as on the sports the engine looks same but throttle cable and butterfly are shorter-trust me dude I did this conversion a few months bk pics in garage!!! astra 8v cables are too short, astra 16v cable has different clip on it

dunno mate I got mine off gary gsi, but think ud be looking at over 50squid- I got loads of cables from breakers off sports etc but all are too short the cable goes rnd the front wing, along the slam panel then to the butterfly

do you know what the cable looks like? its a longer cable than normal with a ball on the end which the butterfly clips in,and a little metal pin holds the ball joint into position, i dont even think the vectra one is long enough :s could be wrong though, if your anything like me you will have ur head under all bonnets for vaux in a breakers yard and still not find one try messaging one of these dudes breaking a gsi?
