U were pulling out of a parking space and he hit you?
TBH, u'll be lucky if he actually owns up to the insurance company that it was his fault. I think u'll have a bit of a fight on ur hands, unless the guys an idiot.

Damage looks light, just a new bumper.

Looking at your pic, I would guess that the other car was coming in the opposite direction and you (your dad) pulled out in front of him.
As said above, this could easilly be turned around and made to look like the driver of your vehicle pulled out on oncoming traffic (driving without due care and attention) Hope it all goes in your favour though.

Behind?
If thats the case, by the looks of your pic, your dad must have already pulled out onto the oncoming traffic.
No disrespect mate, and I'm no expert, but from what I see, I would say it was your dads fault.

just because he said it was his fault to ur face in the moment, dont be surprised if he tells his insurance company its all ur fault
if u got hit from behind, but he hit the side of the front bumper, then tbh its ur dads fault, i cant see how he could hit ur car if urs was stationary

Insurance compaines ALWAYS blame the other person involved even if it wasnt their fault. Its what they do cos they dont want to pay out if they dont have to! So ur dad was pulling out from left handside kerb and someone came along beside him and scraped bumper/wing by the look of it. If your Dad only has 3rd party insurance for your car I dont think it will cover the damage. I might be wrong though!

You be very lucky to get away with that. Sounds like your dad was edging out and the guy had no were to go. Hope everything gets sorted in your favour.
